Mentoring for Nail Techs
Mentoring with me is a calm, supportive space for new and growing nail techs who want help with the real-life side of nails — from theory and application to clients, policies, and business. Together, we’ll look at where you’re at, what’s feeling hard or confusing, and what you want your career to actually look like.
This is for you if you’re ready for honest feedback, practical guidance, and someone in your corner while you figure things out — not just more random tips on the internet.
What We Can Work On Together
Every tech is different, so no two mentoring plans look exactly the same. Here are some of the areas we can focus on:
Foundations & Theory
Nail anatomy and disorders
Sanitation and safe practices
Product understanding and choosing what to invest in
Application & Technique
Prep and structured gel application
Working with different nail types and lengths
Troubleshooting lifting, chipping, or shape issues
Client Experience
Consultations and setting expectations
Boundaries, policies, and tricky conversations
Building trust and long-term client relationships
Business & Confidence
Pricing and raising your rates
Setting up or refining your systems
Mindset, confidence, and feeling like a “real” nail tech
If you’re not sure exactly what you need yet, that’s okay — we can figure it out together.

Mentoring FAQ
-
No. Mentoring is for new and growing nail techs at all stages — from “I’m just starting and feel lost” to “I’ve been doing this a while but feel stuck.” You don’t have to be at a specific level before reaching out.
-
Absolutely. That’s actually when mentoring can help the most. You don’t need to have everything figured out or be “good enough” first — we can work through the uncertainty, questions, and messy middle together.
-
You don’t have to decide that on your own. In your inquiry, share what you’re struggling with and what you’d like support with, and I’ll recommend what I think makes the most sense — whether that’s one focused session or a few calls together.
-
Yes — if you’re local to Kelowna, in-person mentoring may be an option depending on availability and what you’d like to work on. In your inquiry, just let me know if you prefer online, in-person, or either.
-
Filling out the form doesn’t lock you into anything. It simply starts a conversation. I’ll share what I recommend, and you can decide from there if it feels like the right next step for you.
